For those of you going into withdrawal from the seasonal end of the Market Sq Farmers’ Market, you will still be able to see many of your favorite farmers and vendors at the Winter Market every other Saturday during the months of Jan-April.  I will be there with teas, salves, syrups, and fire cider.  This indoor market will be a cozy one so come on down rain or shine.

Fall Community Herbalism Immersion: Part 4- Respiratory Support & Fire Cider

In this final workshop, we will focus on herbs for supporting the respiratory system, many of which you can find in your own kitchen. As part of this workshop, we will learn how to make herbal vinegars and everyone will get to make their own jar of Fire Cider, a fabulous decongesting and expectorating remedy for fall and winter.

Fall Community Herbalism Immersion: Part 3- Immune Support & Elderberry Syrup

In this third workshop, we will focus on the immune system and learn about herbs that can be used to prevent illness and fight off infections. We will explore a variety of forms for ingesting these herbs, including herbal honeys and syrups. As part of this workshop, everyone will get to make and take home their own jar of Elderberry Syrup, an incredible ally against colds and flues.

Fall Community Herbalism Immersion: Part 2- Herbs for Stress & Tincture Making

In this second workshop, we will explore stress as a root cause of illness and learn how it affects our immune, nervous, and endocrine systems. This workshop will focus on adaptogens, one of our most important families of plant allies for healing trauma, cultivating resilience against stress, and bringing balance back to our bodies. We will also learn how to make herbal extracts or tinctures and everyone will get to make their own adaptogen tincture to add to their home apothecary.
